MASTER
RECORDING PRODUCTION AGREEMENT
Artist/Producer
This Agreement, entered into this _____ day of ________________, in
the year of _______, between: __________________________________________,
hereinafter known as ARTIST, and __________________________________________,
hereinafter known as PRODUCER, when signatured in the respective places
indicated below, is limited exclusively to the parties of signature hereto, and
does herewith constitute our Agreement as follows:
1. This Agreement is in respect to services of the PRODUCER in producing a Master Recording(s) and in and to all the performances embodied thereon hereinafter referred to as the MASTER, and in respect to the responsibilities of the ARTIST as rendering such performances to be recorded on said MASTER.
2. The effectiveness of this Agreement shall commence as of the date hereof and shall continue through the completion of PRODUCER'S services and until PRODUCER receives full compensation as stated herein.
3. The MASTER may consist of songs written by ARTIST (hereinafter referred to as ARTIST SONGS) and/or songs written by PRODUCER and ARTIST (hereinafter referred to as CO-WRITTEN SONGS).
4. All songwriter incomes and royalties received with regard to ARTIST SONGS shall be incomes and royalties due solely to ARTIST. CO-WRITTEN SONGS shall consist of any songs where PRODUCER contributes to the writing of the words, melody, or hook of the song. All songwriter incomes and royalties received with regard to CO-WRITTEN SONGS shall be incomes and royalties due to both ARTIST and PRODUCER as per the following percentage splits:

5. The title of the ARTIST SONGS included in MASTER shall be chosen
by ARTIST and the title of the CO-WRITTEN SONGS shall be by agreement between
ARTIST and PRODUCER.
6. ARTIST and PRODUCER agree to obtain and secure a copyright for each song used on the MASTER. Each such copyright shall be deemed the sole property of the person or persons designated on the copyright registration submitted to the U.S. Copyright Office.
7. PRODUCER agrees to produce a MASTER of not less than ________ minutes in total playing duration. PRODUCER shall re-record any musical composition or other selection until a MASTER of a quality which is equal to master recordings normally produced for commercial distribution is obtained.
