1) An area of buying demand determined
by like preferences of the consumers. See: CROSSOVER.
2) Any area in which buyers and sellers

3) The perceived or realized demand
for a commodity or service.
4) The procedure of packaging, promotion, and distribution that
is carried out prior to the actual sale of a commodity.
5) Defined and targeted groups of potential consumers that advertisers
focus their advertisements toward. In the record industry these
markets may be defined by music preference, gender, age class,
demographics, occupation, and/or types of consumers, e.g., affluent,
ethnic, or mass (called the lowest common denominator).
